What’s OER, and why should you care?
Let’s cut through the jargon: OER stands for Open Educational Resources—freely available teaching and learning materials that you can use, adapt, share, and remix without hitting a paywall or a legal headache. Think of it as the educational equivalent of a potluck: everyone brings something to the table, and you’re free to take what works for you (and maybe spice it up your own way).
What’s this page?
You’ve landed on the page of all the OER I’ve created or curated. Consider this your one-stop shelf for ready-to-use, low-cost, remix-friendly content—from games and guides to digital activities and classroom tools.
Ready to explore?
Take what you need. The resources are Free. Adapt what you like. And if you remix something brilliant—remember to cite the creators and send it back online! That’s the spirit of OER. Because good ideas grow better when shared. 🌱
- OER titled Keep Calm and STEAM Ahead! Handbook for Educators developed as part of the 2025 Open Education for a Better World (OE4BW) program. The handbook combines UNESCO MGIEP’s Social Emotional Learning Framework with creative arts like doodling, music, and dramatisation to enrich STEAM education. It’s designed for educators of all stripes – school teachers, facilitators in community centres, as well as parents and even siblings helping younger learners. The handbook is available in different formats to suit internet access and teaching needs: from a downloadable PDF to an interactive online version.
