Uncover the Mystery: Hidden Treasures Await!

My co-creator Shusha Oliveira and I, are so excited to share our newest creation with you—L’Affaire du Trésor Caché! 🔎 This thrilling board game, inspired by the classic Clue (or Cluedo), lets you step into the grand Versailles palace of France, uncover secrets, and solve an exciting mystery. 🏰

Your mission? Figure out which treasure is missing, who took it, and where they’ve hidden it! 🗝️ You’ll explore elegant rooms like the Galerie des Glaces and, Salle du Trône, collecting clues and making deductions. 🕵️‍♂️🕵️‍♀️ It’s the perfect mix of fun, strategy, and a touch of French history—and it’s finally ready for you to play! ✨

What makes this game special? 💡

  • Practice French while playing: It’s a creative way to practice French vocabulary and cultural references while having a great time. 🇫🇷 Two levels are available so that even beginners of the language can participate!
  • Sharpen your detective skills: Work with your friends to crack the case using logic and teamwork. 🧠🤝
  • Print-and-Play: No fancy equipment needed—just download, print, and start playing. 🖨️🎲
  • Comprehensive Game Manual: We’ve created a detailed manual with instructions on the setup of the game, gameplay mechanics and use of the game as a pedagogical tool to make learning interactive and fun. 📘🎓

Why is the game Free? And will always be free! 💡

As fellow teachers, we know that not everyone can afford expensive commercial games. That’s why we created L’Affaire du Trésor Caché as an economical, accessible resource for classrooms and beyond, that can be used in multiple ways. We’ve released it under a Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC-ND) so that:

  • 🆓It’s free for anyone to use, as long as it’s for non-commercial purposes.
